A man who was swept into the sea off Blackpool in the early hours of New Year's Day has been named by police as Paul Morris.
The search for the 41-year-old from South Shore, Blackpool, had earlier been called off by coastguards.
Mr Morris had moved to the Lancashire town from Barrow in Furness, police confirmed.
