Physical sales still make up bulk of entertainment market

Figures collected by the Entertainment Retailers Association showed that physical formats still make up 75.5 percent of total music, video and games sales.

Record £1bn digital sales

A record £1 billion was spent on downloading films, music and games last year, according to the Entertainment Retailers Association. Sales of digital albums rose by 14.8%, as physical copies fell by 19.5%.
