Uganda drops charges against British theatre producer David Cecil
The case against David Cecil, the British theatre producer charged in Uganda after staging a play which featured a gay character, has been thrown out.
Cecil's play, The River and the Mountain, was performed without authorisation in a country where tougher anti-gay laws are being discussed.
Mr Cecil tells me he is delighted.
