Cameron: Child benefit changes are 'fair'
David Cameron told BBC1's The Andrew Marr Show that the Government's changes to child benefit do not punish traditional families but make the system fairer.
– Prime MinisterTaking away child benefit from those earning over £60,000, that is only the top 15% of the country.
I'm not saying those people are rich but that this will raise £2 billion a year.
If we don't raise that money from these people, the top 15% in the country then we would have to find it from somewhere else.
