Cheltenham Town players gearing up for one of the biggest matches in the club's history have been left reeling after their training ground was targeted by thieves on the eve of the game.

Wallets, watches and smart phones worth thousands of pounds were taken from the ground yesterday morning while the League Two team was preparing for tonight's illustrious FA Cup home tie with Premier League Everton.

Robins striker Darryl Duffy tweeted that a phone with "all my pics/videos of my kids" had been taken, while four of his team mates were also targeted. "Cannot stand thieves," he said.

Two 17-year-olds from Cheltenham have been arrested in connection with the thefts, Gloucestershire Police have said.
