Oldest man lived 'with the best intentions'

Christopher Dean said faith had been a key part of his father's life, and one of the principles he had always credited with his long life.

He said 'always look for the best in people, never do a task for reward or prize - always for the best intentions.

'Be a vegetarian and have a faith, of whatever religion, that you can trust and rely upon.'

Britain's oldest man dies

Britain's oldest man has died, aged 110 years and 63 days. Reg Dean, a former United Reform Church minister, died on Saturday.
