Former Brazilian football star Ronaldo, one of the most marketable players in his pomp, is reportedly set to move to London to study advertising.

The 36-year-old is set to transfer to the capital to learn the tricks of the trade from Sir Martin Sorrell, the chief executive of WPP, according to Brazilian press reports.

The two struck up an unlikely partnership while working together on sporting promotions, including for Brazil's hosting of the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics, and established a joint ad agency venture, 9ine.

The former Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan forward told Brazilian newspaper Meio e Mensagem: “Learning from Martin Sorrell will be perfect. I won’t leave him alone. I’ll be asking him questions the whole day, just like a striker. He’s going to have to tell me everything.”
