Ashley Foster, 21, and Jonathan Bowling, 22, were remanded in custody by magistrates in Sheffield today when they appeared accused of murdering church organist Alan Greaves.
Mr Greaves, 68, was attacked on his way to midnight mass in Sheffield on Christmas Eve.
