Ed Miliband: 'No vacancy for Shadow Chancellor'

The Labour leader Ed Miliband has told the BBC's Andrew Marr Show that Ed Balls will still be Shadow Chancellor in the next general election because he is doing a "great job".

Asked whether his brother David would take the position if he re-enters the cabinet, Mr Miliband said: "There is no vacancy for Shadow Chancellor".

There has been speculation that David Miliband may be in line for the position after a speech on welfare reforms he made in the House of Commmons on Tuesday.
