Shameless actor takes up new role in BBC serial
David Threlfall is to star in a new BBC serial, it will be his first role since his long-running stint as Frank Gallagher, in Channel 4's Shameless.
The actor will appear alongside Being Human star Russell Tovey, playing a hard-working detective in 'What Remains'.
The 59-year-old has been playing layabout Frank Gallagher for a decade, he will record his final episode this week.
