The post-mortem examination of a two-year-old boy is expected to be carried out in the coming days by a Home Office pathologist or specialist paediatric pathologist. Detectives are continuing to piece together information and urged members of the public with any information to get in touch.
At around 8.20am [on Saturday], following a report to police, officers attended an address in Champernowne, Modbury, where they found the body of a two-year-old boy.A 40-year-old local woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody at Charles Cross police station, Plymouth.
