Poll: Brits doubtful over UK involvement in Mali

An ITV News Index Poll carried out by ComRes reveals that there is little public support for British military involvement in the French-led operation to stop terrorist insurgents in Mali.

Of those surveyed:

  • Fewer than one in five (18%) believe that David Cameron should commit to deploying British forces on the ground there.
  • 47% disagree, while 35% say that they don’t know.
