Dianne Abbott, will address the sexualisation of British adolescence in a speech today to the Fawcett Society.
She will discuss:
- The 'pornification' of popular British culture, with the rise of sexting and slut-shaming in schools
- One of the main aims of the speech will be to call for a national conversation between parents and their children about sex, pornography and technology
- Diane will call for a 'sex education revolution' in British schools
- She says that it should be made easier for parents to block and filter their child's use of the internet and their phones
