Low ratings for big energy firms with customer service

Smaller energy firms come first, with value for money and customer service, a survey has revealed.

According to a Which? poll, six of the UK's biggest energy firms, ended up at the lower end of the scale, despite dominating nearly 100 per cent of the market.

For the second year running, energy giant npower were rated worst for customer satisfaction

For the second year running, npower received the lowest overall score with a customer satisfaction rating of under 40 per cent.

EDF energy had the second lowest rating, at just under 50 per cent.

Renewable energy supplier Good Energy came top for the second year in a row.
