Snow set to cause further travel disruptions
Further travel disruptions are expected today as another round of snow sweeps across parts of the country.
Parts of Scotland and northern England could see up to 10cms of snowfall this morning and a further 2cms in East Anglia, followed by around 6cms in southern England this evening, forecasters have predicted.
Overnight temperatures plummeted to as low as -11.3 in Buckinghamshire, -10 at Stansted Airport and -9 at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk.
Both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports have warned passengers to expect delays today with the former saying there would possibly be cancellations.
