Approximately 10 to 12 petrol bombs were thrown at police in Newtownabbey during loyalist disturbances this evening, and a further 19 seized by officers and taken for forensic examination.
"Police came under attack from crowds throwing stones, bottles and petrol bombs following an earlier protest in the area," a spokesman said.

Police believe a tree currently growing near the farmhouse where the 21-month-old toddler was last seen in 1991 was not there at the time.
The 21-year-old was using a portable toilet in Sydney when he was bitten near to the same area as in a previous incident in April.
