Apple loses title of world's most valuable company
Exxon Mobil surpassed Apple as the world's most valuable company today.
Apple's financial results, which were released on Wednesday, suggest that its impressive period of fast growth may be coming to an end. On Thursday, Apple's stock saw its biggest one-day percentage drop since 2008.
Exxon's shares meanwhile have remained steady.
Apple first surpassed Exxon in the Summer of 2011. The two companies then swapped places that Autumn, until Apple surpassed Exxon again in early 2012.
