Man charged over Beckenham knife attack

A man will appear in court tomorrow over a knife attack on a woman and her parents.

It follows an incident last Thursday night in which three people were injured at a house in Ernest Grove, Beckenham, south London, Scotland Yard said.

A 29 year old woman suffered injuries to her neck and hands while her mother, 54, had wounds to her hands.

The woman's father, 58, suffered wounds to his arm and stomach and is in intensive care, although his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Luke Nicholson, 28, of St John's Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, is charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, one count of actual bodily harm and one count of possessing an offensive weapon.

He will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
