Report: Three other F-16s fly were on training mission
Italian News Agency LaPresse has reported that the F-16 fighter jet, which went missing on Monday night, was flying with three other F-16s as part of a training mission.
The newspaper added that the pilot was able to raise the alarm signal before falling.
Search teams are currently looking for the missing jet, which they believe could have crashed in the Adriatic.
