NFL's Super Bowl generates 24.1 million tweets
The finale of the American football season generated more than 24 million tweets, Twitter said today.
The 47th Super Bowl was won by the Baltimore Ravens and featured a half-time performance from Beyonce as well as a floodlight failure.
Michelle Obama tweeted about Beyonce's half-time show, which Twitter said saw the peak in activity at 268,000 tweets-per-minute.
