Police are investigating the death of pensioner Gloria Foster, who was left without care for nine days at home in Banstead, Surrey, following a raid on the company that had been looking after her, Surrey Police said.

Pensioner dies after nursing care cut off

A widow who was left to starve after her nursing care was cut off has died in hospital.

Gloria Foster's nursing agency was shut down by immigration police on January 15, and she died after going nine days without the four daily visits she was supposed to receive, according to the Sutton Guardian.
