Lib Dems: 'People do know we delivered the tax cuts'

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg will set out the Liberal Democrat's policy to cut personal income tax for low earners later today.

He is hoping to appeal to voters ahead of a by-election in Eastleigh at the end of the month, where disgraced Lib Dem Chris Huhne was MP before resigning.

The deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats Simon Hughes spoke to ITV Daybreak, he said that the "key thing" the Lib Dems have delivered is taking lower and middle income people out of tax.
