Firefighter: 'In process' of recovering bus crash bodies

Firefighters working at the scene of a bus crash which killed 16 football fans, have said that the driver had "lost control" of the vehicle near the mountain town of Tome in Chile. Fire serviceman Roberto Araya said:

Within the bus crash site, we sadly have people who were ejected from the vehicle and their bodies are strewn about the mountainous area.

We are in the process of rescuing those bodies so that the SIA (Accident Investigation Services) along with specialists can begin the process of identifying (the victims).
