A climber who went missing in the Cairngorms at the weekend has died. Emergency teams found a body in the Jacob Ladder's area of the mountains, police confirmed.
A major search operation began yesterday involving teams of more than 100 people from the police, RAF and mountain rescue. The students are thought to be from the Leeds area and were not injured.
The man will not be named until his next of kin have been told.
