A fireman found all six children still in bed covered by bedding following the fire at the Philpott home in Victory Road, the jury at Nottingham Crown Court has been told.
Jade Philpott, 10, and her brothers John, nine, Jack, eight, Jesse, six, and Jayden, five, all perished in the fire at their parents' semi-detached home in the early hours of May 11.
Their older brother Duwayne, 13, died of his injuries in Birmingham Children's Hospital two days later.
