Dale Cregan suddenly changed his plea in court today, and admitted he did murder PCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes, after luring them to their deaths with a false 999 call.
Cregan fired 32 bullets at the police women in Hattersley, Greater Manchester, and threw a grenade at them. Initially, he had insisted he was not guilty.
