A newsreader has announced details of an apparent nuclear test in one of the world's most secretive country's.
Last month North Korea announced plans for a nuclear test, and this morning scientists detected a quake measuring 4.9 during close to a known nuclear test site.
The test has been condemned by officials, with UN Chief Ban Ki-moon calling it a "clear and grave violation" of Security Council resolutions.
