RAF helicopter heads to scene of chairlift derailment
A spokesman for the Lecht Ski Centre centre has told STV News that six people had been injured in a chairlift derailment in Aberdeenshire and 36 people, who had been trapped, had been rescued by fire crews.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said it was dealing with "possible leg and spine injuries".
An RAF helicopter is en route to the scene from Prestwick to assist other people from the mountain
Dave Webster from RAF Mountain Rescue said more than ten people had required assistance off the mountain after the chairlift came off of its pulley system.
