Women facing 'deadly violence'

Demonstrations are taking place in two hundred countries to raise awareness of violence against women. The One Billion Rising campaign claims one in three women will be a victim of violence at some point in their lifetime.

'Education is the thing' to stop violence against women

As a part of the One Billion Rising campaign Comedian Ruby Wax told ITV News that the most important tool in dealing with violence against women is education.

She said, "education, it's got to start then. It's too late later on, the damage is done. Education is the most important."
