Fugitive former police officer died from 'self-inflicted gunshot'
A fugitive former police officer whose remains were found in a burned-out California mountain cabin following a stand-off died from a possibly self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's spokesman.
Coroner's examiners have not yet determined who fired the shot that killed 33-year-old Christopher Dorner, said San Bernardino County Sheriff's Capt. Kevin Lacy.
