Hot air balloon flights have been banned in Luxor following today's crash, the MENA news agency has reported.
Luxor Governor Ezzat Saad has ordered all hot air balloon companies to stop work and said no balloon flights can take-off from the city, the report stated.
It did not specify how long the ban would remain in place.
