Hasselhoff in a huff about Berlin Wall demolition plans

David Hasselhoff has joined a campaign against plans for the longest remaining part of the Berlin Wall to be demolished to make way for a bridge leading to a luxury block of luxury flats.

The former Knight Rider star - who some credit with a role in bringing down the barrier after his 1989 performance of his song Looking for Freedom on top of the wall - tweeted:
