Manchester United could face sanctions from European football's governing body after manager Sir Alex Ferguson failed to give any post-match media interviews following his side's Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last night.
UEFA said it had "opened disciplinary proceedings", citing regulations that require all clubs to offer "their manager and one player" for interview after the match.
A second charge against the Red Devils related to the red card given to winger Nani, UEFA said.
