Bonnie Tyler has told ITV News that her entry into the Eurovision song contest was written at the dinner table with a friend in Nashville.
She said: "I've got a great song written by Desmond Child, who is a world class song writer, and also a friend.
"Part of the song was written at dinner in Nashville - because we are friends. He didn't know this was going to be in Eurovision."
Bonnie said it was "very exciting" to be taking part in the contest.
She added: "The news came a little bit earlier than we expected."
