Cameron: UK economy beset by three problems

As he delivered a speech on the UK's economy in West Yorkshire, the Prime Minister said that the UK's economy is beset by three problems, the biggest budget deficit, the global banking crash and "an erosion of our competitiveness".

Prime Minister David Cameron will promise to continue "sticking to the plan" on the economy, despite the loss of the country's AAA credit ratings and signs from his Business Secretary Vince Cable it was time to change course.
