Man to be charged with schoolgirl bus stabbing
West Midlands Police have said they have been given authority by the Crown Prosecution Service to charge Phillip Simelane, 22, with 16-year-old Christina Edkins’ murder. She was stabbed to death on a bus in Birmingham.
He will be formally charged in due course.
