Two British tourists have been shot in the Caribbean holiday island of Barbados as they made their way to a cruise ship, the Daily Mail is reporting.
Police in the capital Bridgetown said the victims - a man in his 70s and a woman in his 50s - were taken to hospital for treatment.
It is believed they were shot during a robbery.
The man was hit in his left side and the woman received a gunshot injury to her right thigh.
A statement from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: "We are aware of an incident involving two British tourists in Bridgetown, Barbados. We are providing consular assistance."
