Pope Francis inaugurated as 266th pontiff

Pope Francis has completed his inaugural mass in St Peter's Square, officially installing him as the 266th pontiff.
Around 150,000 people are estimated to have attended the historic ceremony, which was relayed on big screens.
Visual support for the new incumbent was evident among the crowd.
