Evening Standard sorry for tweeting Budget front page

The London Evening Standard's political editor Joe Murphy has apologised for a "very serious mistake" after the paper's front page, containing details of the Chancellor's Budget, was published before they were announced to MPs:

Govt: Economy 'could be worse'

The Chancellor George Osborne has told ITV's Daybreak that the country's economic problems "could be a lot worse", referring to the situation in Cyprus, as he defended his Budget plans to kickstart the recovery.
