Rare rocket attack in Israel coincides with Obama visit
US President Barack Obama will emphasize the importance of reaching an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal later today. His message has been underscored with an attack by Palestinian militants in Gaza who launched rockets into southern Israel earlier today.
One rocket exploded in the courtyard of a house in the border town of Sderot. The other landed in an open field. No one was hurt. Our Middle East Correspondent John Ray says this kind of attack has become rare in recent months.
