First minister Alex Salmond has commented on the house explosion that caused an elderly couple to be admitted to hospital.
Speaking at Holyrood to Bruce Crawford, the SNP's constituency MSP for Stirling, he said:
Of course the expressions of concern from the constituency member will be shared across the chamber. Obviously we shouldn't draw conclusions, there has been no investigation as yet.
But I can assure that this matter will be taken very seriously by both the authorities and by Government ministers.
We join with Bruce Crawford in sending our sympathies to those affected by this incident.
