US investigators have revealed the two bombs that went off at the Boston Marathon were detonated with the kind of remote control device used for a toy car.

Father: Bomb suspect 'a true angel'

The father of the Boston bombing suspect, who police are currently searching for, said his son is an accomplished medical student and "a true angel", according to the Associated Press.

My son is a true angel. Dzhokhar is a second-year medical student in the US. He is such an intelligent boy. We expected him to come on holidays here.
