Marathon solidarity with Boston

Runners and spectators of the 33rd London Marathon turned out in force today in a show of solidarity to the victims of the Boston bomb attacks. More than 35,000 runners ran the 26.2 mile route.

Celebrities set for London Marathon

The Virgin London Marathon's Twitter page has posted a picture of celebrities before they attempt to run the 26.2 mile event in the capital.

The celebrities include former cricket captain Andrew Strauss, singer Katherine Jenkins and The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs.
