Marathon solidarity with Boston

Runners and spectators of the 33rd London Marathon turned out in force today in a show of solidarity to the victims of the Boston bomb attacks. More than 35,000 runners ran the 26.2 mile route.

Tatyana McFadden wins Marathon's wheelchair race

Tatyana McFadden has won the women's wheelchair race at the London Marathon, after also winning it in the Boston Marathon.

She told the BBC:

You know this whole weekend was dedicated to Boston and we got huge support from London. So, I couldn't be happier - just getting support. It was just a wonderful day.
