Minister: Time in Parliament does not reflect MP workload

I think that it is a misunderstanding that the amount of work an MP does is reflected by the number of days that Parliament sits. It isn't.

MPs told they risk looking lazy

The senior MP who chairs the Commons spending watchdog has warned her colleagues that they risk being seen as lazy because the amount of time they spend in Westminster appears to be getting less and less.
