The Sun's royal editor Duncan Larcombe has been charged over allegations that he paid £23,000 to officials for stories relating to the Royal Family and the Sandhurst military academy.

The Sun's royal editor charged

Four people, including the Sun's royal editor Duncan Larcombe, have been charged following investigations by Operation Elveden - an investigation into alleged illegal payments to public officials.

John Hardy from Sandhurst, his wife Clare, and Tracy Bell, a Ministry of Defence employee, have also been charged.
