A Boston Marathon bombing victim who lost half of her leg in the attack said in the aftermath she saw smoke and people screaming which "immediately reminded me of 9/11."
Heather Abbott , 38, had her left leg amputated below the knee after she was caught up in the bombings when queuing to get into a crowded bar.
Ms Abbot also praised the "astonishing" amount of money donated to the One Fund Boston - a charity formed after the attacks which has so far raised $20 million (nearly £13m).
