One woman has died in a collision between a lorry and a minibus on its way to a hen party on the M62 near Pontefract, West Yorkshire Police said. The group was heading to Liverpool according to the police.
Local emergency services remarked that the crash was "the worst they had seen in a number of years". Four air ambulances were needed to take the injured to hospital.
