Afghan bomb soldiers tributes

The families and friends of three soldiers killed in Afghanistan have been paying tributes to the men. Corporal William Savage, Fusilier Samuel Flint and Private Robert Hetherington died in a bomb attack on Tuesday.

MoD names three British soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Three British soldiers killed when their vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb in Helmand Province in Afghanistan have been named by the Ministry of Defence:

  • Corporal William Thomas Savage from The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment Of Scotland.
  • Fusilier Samuel Flint from The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment Of Scotland.
  • Private Robert Murray Hetherington from 51st Highland, 7th Battalion The Royal Regiment Of Scotland.

Their families have been told.
