West Midlands Police have released two sets of CCTV footage from around the time when a 75-year-old man was attacked and stabbed to death in Small Heath, Birmingham on Monday night.
Mohammed Saleem Chaudhry was stabbed three times in the back as he walked home from a mosque.
The first piece of CCTV footage, shown in the video below, shows a white male, wearing a distinctive beanie hat, running away from the scene towards Wyndcliff Road. A second CCTV video shows a seven seater people carrier type vehicle driving close to the scene.
The daughters of Mr Saleem spoke today at a police press conference.
Nazia Maqsood said: "It is extremely difficult for us to accept the brutality that was inflicted on our beloved father and grandfather who will be deeply missed."
Shazia Khan added: "I cannot see him having any enemies who would be so full of hate to do this to him. We don't understand."
